Short Bio:

Kimberly Wiefling is an international business leadership consultant and the author of “Scrappy Project Management – The 12 Predictable and Avoidable Pitfalls Every Project Faces”. Her book has been among the top 100 project management books in the US since launch, and is gaining in popularity around the world. Her work enables people to implement practical leadership and program management processes that deliver results - - - predictably, repeat-ably - - - even when the goals seem nearly impossible. She earned a masters degree in physics from Case Institute, which she claims was the perfect preparation for her specialty of tackling the impossible.

Her 10 years with Hewlett-Packard, and 5 years leading large and small technology organizations in the volatile world of Silicon Valley has provided the key insights needed to establish a successful business consultancy for the past four years.

Kimberly holds a certification in project management from UC Santa Cruz, where she has taught in the certificate program for the past 5 years. She has facilitated workshops on leadership and project management in Japan, China, Europe and Armenia.

She has been featured in magazines and newspapers from Dallas to China on topics as wide-ranging as customer-centric product development to starting, running and growing a business.

And she has spoken to groups as diverse as the Institute for Electrical and Electronic Engineers, The Institute of Management Accountants, and The Institute for Transpersonal Psychology.
